Windows server 2008 with Plesk

I'm working with my friend to start a web hosting company. If we got a Windows 2008 server and a plesk control panel how many sites could we host on the server?

A lot is the short answer to your question. It all depends on how busy the sites are and what they have on them. Sites running Magento shopping carts take a little more resources than something like Wordpress. If you have nothing but small sites with a low to medium amounts of traffic you should be able to have a few hundred sites per server with modern hardware.
