"I can barely read, and I certainly can't do math."

Just kidding...

but not really.

This site was created, developed, and designed by Erik Rodriguez. All articles/HOWTOs are original creations respectively.

So who is this guy, and why should I believe anything he says?

Erik Rodriguez is a Florida based information technology consultant specializing in network and systems administration. He has over a decade of experience in the IT field. His areas of expertise include both corporate and data center networks. Erik has held various positions as an administrator of both networks and systems at private and publicly traded companies. He is an active supporter of open source technology and DIY productions such as CentOS and Adafruit. His hobbies include sports, electronics, and movies.

In 2002, while attending the University of Florida on a track and field scholarship, Erik created skullbox.net. The site was originally created to showcase his knowledge and talents for perspective employers in hopes of being hired immediately following graduation. In 2004, some articles posted quickly gained notoriety. As traffic to the site increased, Erik continued to add content and features to the site which eventually became a common place for information technology related guides and HOWTOs. By 2005, Erik formed Orlando Tech Works, LLC which provides various IT related services from multiple data centers around the United States. His key to success is the willingness and need to understand technology and apply it to the business world. Erik is always looking for new ways to use, improve, or create new technology to power business for the future.

Current Projects:
